Meeting Overlook

Our meetings occur on the first and third Monday of every month. Each meeting lasts approximately an hour and a half, and we learn about anything aviation from some of the most knowledgeable individuals in the Chicagoland area.

Helicopter Cockpit

Ground Lessons

One of our meetings consists of a ground lesson from an FAA certified CFI, and current Post 9 advisor. These meetings consist of anything from learning about weather, or even getting hands on with aircraft and having the opportunity to learn about them! For aspiring pilots, this is a valuable meeting that we are fortunate to have the ability to run!

Monthly Speakers

Whether it is a Post 9 alumni or a commercial airline pilot at an airline, the Post has the ability to hear about these careers in aviation from none other than the individuals who are employed in the aviation field!

Passenger Plane

Aviation Excursions

Occasionally, we have the opportunity to venture to many aviation facilities in the area. In the past, we have been able to visit the United operations headquarters, and Atlantic Aviation at KPWK!
